Suncast Sheds: Built To Withstand Whatever Nature Throws At Them

You want to be able to entertain outside on your deck, in your pool, or around your fire pit.  However, your garage is a mess and an embarrassment.  The answer is a Suncast shed.  Attractive and practical, you can choose the size that works best for you, and use it to store power tools, garden implements, pool supplies, lawn tools, and bicycles.  Use your own ideas and be creative in maximizing your storage space.

The Suncast Large Storage Shed is available for purchase at Sears.  This shed measures almost 7 feet tall, 5.5 feet wide, and almost 5.5 feet deep.  Double doors open wide to ease the entry and removal of large items, and the doors come together and have a place for a padlock.  Item number 07165051000 at sears.com, this shed sells for $449.99.  It is made of durable molded resin and offers 138 cubic feet of storage space.

Suncast Corporation's Alpine Series is available exclusively at Home Depot.  One model, the Suncast 7-foot by 10-foot Storage Shed, is available for $898.  Model number BMS8000 features durable blow-molded plastic walls and a heavy duty floor, which is reinforced in areas where tire treads would sit.  The roof is supported by a metal truss and wood beams, and shatterproof lockable windows line either side of the shed.  The shed is 8.5 inches tall and offers 586 cubic feet of storage space.  Double doors open wide to allow for a lawn tractor or bicycles to be removed and replaced as necessary.

If your storage needs are less complex, or your backyard will not accommodate a large storage building, consider the Suncast Horizontal Utility Shed at Lowes.  Item number 46377 sells for $198 at lowes.com.  Made of durable resin, this shed is 45.6 inches tall, 37.2 inches long, and 55.2 inches wide.  Double doors open, creating an opening as wide as the unit, and the top props open as well.  The shed comes with a ramp for ease of loading bicycles and lawn mowers.

A number of other retailers and suppliers sell Suncast sheds online and in stores.  Supplyhero.com, for example carries the Suncast Tall Cabinet.  This is a great unit if your needs are primarily surrounding long handled implements, like lawn and garden tools and a weed whip.  Other options exist once you add a shelf or shelves inside.  This vertical shed measures 72 ¾ inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 20 ¼ inches deep.  It is constructed of weather-resistant resin, and sells for $119.00  It is model number C7200.  Unlike its predecessors, this modern version of the vertical shed will not rust or rot over time.  This product is offered by a number of other retailers, including CSNsheds.com.

At milo.com, you will find Suncast's beautiful hybrid series.  The American Hybrid Shed is natural cedar with metal hinges and door latches; its resin construction makes it more durable than typical wood sheds.  It stands 8 feet and 10 inches high, 8 feet wide, and 8 feet deep.  Model number WRS880, this product sells for $1,999.99.  The rustic exterior appearance makes this a beautiful addition to your backyard, and its subtlety will not detract from your garden.
